Often referred to as one of, if not the, worst ballpark in MLB, this park favors pitching both currently and historically. This park is big, with a huge foul territory, and weather plays a role as well. I believe it was Mark Twain had a famous quote, “the coldest winter I have ever experienced was summer in San Francisco” and nearby Oakland has the same type of climatological setup. July’s average high temperature is only 70 degrees, which lags dramtically behind many other MLB cities.
