Surprisingly, this is currently the 3rd ranked offensive ballpark so far in 2016 even with some horrific hitting conditions earlier in the year. Historically, this ballpark is right about average offensively but so far it is well above average in batting average, homeruns, doubles and even walks. Cleveland’s average high temperature is 83 in July and often high levels of humidity accompany the warmth. So while I expect the ballpark to come back towards the middle of the pack offensively, several offensive expolsions by the Indians and their opponents can not be ruled out. FanGraphs currently has the Indians as the 6th best offensive team in terms of WAR and while I do not think they can keep up that ranking all year, it just shows how powerful this team can be.
